HBO wanted to expand their core demographic and throw an adulting themed pop-up in honor of their hit show Insecure. We curated a mixture of Insecure activations, transformed Spring Place in NYC, and programmed an influencer screening with an after party featuring Tierra Whack.






DAYTIME SCREENING
Throughout the day we hosted influencer screenings in Spring Place's iconic sunken living room. Guests were treated with a full bar, popcorn, swag, and an introduction before viewing the first three episodes before they aired. Screenings were presented by Covergirl, TIDAL, in addition to local influencers.





PHOTO MOMENTS
The experience was peppered with a series of photo moments for guests to use including the requisite balloon wall and flower wall, but with Insecure flair. Borrowing from the season's "adulting" themes, the environment was peppered with applicable adages.


ACTIVATIONS & PARTNERSHIPS
Arguably the best part of the event was the karaoke video booth. In a stylish recreation of Issa's bathroom guests were invited to attempt her signature raps. A screen hidden in the mirror provided the lyrics and after the recording, guests were able to post their rap directly to social media.




INFLUENCER AFTERPARTY
The day-long event culminated with an after-party deep into the night featuring a live performance by Tierra Whack, dj sets, and dancing.
